It has happened.

I have finally taken that...ER...final step to true dastardly evil...I read a old friend, now acquaintance, facebook page, absorbed the hollow despair and outright weeping, and I did....nothing.  Victory, that last step of quashing empathy is so good...so why do I feel so much more hollow than her post right now?  Maybe if I go and make one of the minion/students cry, that will lift my spirits....or better yet, a postdoc....
